Source: ONE NewsThe front of the Ady Gill is seen ripped open after its collision with Japanese whaling ship Shonan Maru 2
A Japanese whaling ship has run over and severed the bow of a smaller, New Zealand-flagged boat piloted by anti-whaling activists in icy waters near Antarctica.
The 24m Ady Gil - formerly named Earthrace - was shadowing the Shonan Maru, which suddenly started its engines and hit the Sea Shepherd vessel, the anti-whaling group says.
From this date onwards, no Japanese people will be welcome on my blog. They can blame their own whalers for this. Pete Bethune is a personal friend of mine and I applaud his crew & him for their stand against whaling.
